This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. At Whitton Pond through the summer months highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Whitton Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Cranmore Mountain is a very popular ski area around here, and you can run the rapids of       Lovell River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Eastern Slope Camping Area while you're here at Whitton Pond; some close by water includes Ham Brook. Head up to Attitash Bear Peak and strap some skis to your feet, and Birch Hill can be observed from Whitton Pond. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in close proximity to Whitton Pond. A great site to camp here at Whitton Pond is Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort; going for a hike along                  the Weetamoo Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Having a good time in the White Mountains is uncomplicated. A perfect nearby hotel is Stonehurst Manor, and hiking along the White Ledge Trail is great fun. The high level of rainfall makes Whitton Pond a quite wet site; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while September is frequently the driest month. What a place this is for outdoors people. There's whitewater on Swift River for all you adrenaline junkies, unsurprisingly you could also go to Back Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the White Mountains has to offer. No need to travel far to have a look at interesting stuff like Madison Boulder, and after a long day outdoors White Deer Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two.
