It's always fun to stop by Whitton Pond. If you need a site to stay Merrill Farm Resort is a pleasant choice; what would a place like Whitton Pond be without exciting nearby traits like Madison Boulder. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. Soar down the rapids of Swift River in a kayak, and Lovejoy Marsh is a swamp in the neighborhood of Whitton Pond. | | first going for a hike along the White Ledge Trail; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Attitash Bear Peak. Getting to Ham Brook from Whitton Pond is painless. Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. There's so much to do here at Whitton Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort is a wonderful place for that, and good skiing
awaits you at Cranmore Mountain. And that's not all you can do here at Whitton Pond. There's good hiking along the Carter Ledge Trail, and Whitton Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Eastern Slope Camping Area
is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. You get a good view of Birch Hill from Whitton Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Luxury Mountain Getaways. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains.
That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Whitton Pond has it all. If you come at the right time of year, Lovell River offers some glorious whitewater. Whitton Pond regularly gets much precipitation; during the month of
November you get the most rain around here; September on the other hand is the driest. These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing things to do in the White Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Weetamoo Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Iona Lake.
