Mountain Getaways is a glorious location to get some rest; nearby you come across the White Ledge Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. Whitton Pond is a reasonably wet place commonly with much rainfall; through the month of November
you get the most rain around here, and September is when it's the driest.
Dry warm beds await you at Merrill Farm Resort, and going for a hike on the Weetamoo Trail is always a great adventure. If you like skiing, you're in luck;
Attitash Bear Peak is next to Whitton Pond, and here at Whitton Pond you can see Birch Hill. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. A day on the slopes of Cranmore Mountain is just
what you need, and there's whitewater on Swift River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
You completely must fancy Whitton Pond. Whitton Pond is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort
is a nice place to camp nearby, and a tremendous swamp in the vicinity of Whitton Pond is Lovejoy Marsh. This lake is so wonderful. If you're hooked on cool geologic traits, try Madison Boulder, and you can run the rapids of Lovell River.
