for a hike on the Wapack Trail. Float down the rapids of Contoocook River in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Whittemore Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cliffton's Country Camping is a pleasant location for that.

This lake is so wonderful. If you're looking for a beach close to Whittemore Lake, we recommend Campers
Beach, and there's perfect hiking along the Pumpelly Trail. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Whittemore Lake get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime
highs are regularly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Whittemore Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's.
