This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Black Pond is nearby, and Carter Hill can be spotted from White Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Sunapee if you're here, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike       along the Pumpelly Trail. White Pond is a magnificent spot to visit for more than one day, Idle Times Campground is a magnificent spot to camp nearby, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Contoocook River - North Branch. Black Pond Dam is worth taking a look at if you're here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything White Pond has to offer, you can camp at Cliffton's Country Camping. There are other spots here than White Pond, for example                  Smith Pond, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail. A splendid nearby hotel is Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge; there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Parker Trail. Just can't get enough of White Pond. While you're here at White Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by Keene. Summertime highs at White Pond usually tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's while White Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. But wait, there's more to do next to White Pond. After a long day outdoors The Henniker Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and what would winter be without some skiing at Crotched Mountain.
