This is a pleasant neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Black Pond is a lake around here, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Indian Mound Golf Club. Frenchman Brook is a stream that you may come across while here, and do take some time to stop at Pine River State Forest since you're here. Summer brings highs in       the 70's to White Pond while night lows are mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows at White Pond through the wintertime frequently descend into the 0's. This place, White Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors fun stuff. Hiking along the Weetamoo Trail is delightful fun, and if you need a site to stay Merrill Farm Resort is a great choice. The high level of rainfall makes White Pond a relatively wet site;                  the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most; January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Lost Ponds, and Providence Lake Beach is a lovely beach to explore. Yeah, come here to White Pond for a magnificent time. Pine River Campground is a magnificent local campground, and the slopes of King Pine are so inviting noone can resist. After a long day outdoors Wolfeboro Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and hey, Gotta ski right? Abenaki is a magnificent location to do that. While you're here at White Pond you can take a hike along the Piper Trail. Have a great hiking adventure along the White Ledge Trail, and on a gorgeous day you can take a look at Clows Beach. This lake is so wonderful.
