An average amount of rainfall falls at Wheeler Pond; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Glide down the rapids of Contoocook River in a kayak. Lakes are magnificent; Smithville Reservoir is a lake that's near Wheeler Pond. There's       so much to do here at Wheeler Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds is a glorious place for that, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Parker Trail. Wachusett Village Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest, and don't forget to take a delightful little trip to Fox Brook. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the vicinity of Wheeler Pond. Here at Wheeler Pond there are plenty of people from                  Manchester-Nashua. Skiing at Crotched Mountain is one of those things you just have to do; Conant Hill is beautiful and can be seen from here. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Wachusett Mountain, and do take a hike on the Mitchell Hill Road. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Pratt Pond, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Wapack Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Colonial Hotel is a nice choice; Wheeler Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Woodmore Campground is a wonderful local campground. All through the warm months highs here at Wheeler Pond get into the 80's; the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, typically in the 50's.
