If you are traveling by, why not stop by Wheeler Pond. Get drenched paddling on Wild River; Town & Country Motor Inn is a pleasant spot to get some rest. All year is a good time in the White Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Basin Campground and Picnic Area is a tremendous campground here; do take a hike on the Scudder Trail. The yearly rainfall here at Wheeler Pond is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain;

Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Sunday River and strap some skis to your feet, unsurprisingly you could also have a look at Judson Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. All through the warmest time
