Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact bountiful here at Wendall Marsh. There's magnificent hiking along the West Ridge Trail. Head up to Mount Sunapee and strap some skis to your feet; Croyden Brook has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. Paddling on Sugar River is so much fun, and a day at pretty Dewey Beach right next door to Wendall Marsh is a great thing to do. After a long day outdoors       Burkhaven Lodge is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two, and don't leave Wendall Marsh without first going for a hike along the Wilmot Trail. Go for a hike on the Monadnock Sunapee Trail, and State Park Beach is a beautiful beach to take a look at. A common amount of rain falls here at Wendall Marsh; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. You can take a little spree to Wendall                  Marsh Dam since you're here at Wendall Marsh. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Wendall Marsh has to offer, you can camp at Rand Pond Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Wendall Marsh, you could stop at Trask Brook, and Dexter's Inn & Tennis Club is a fine site to get some rest. So much amusing stuff in close proximity to Wendall Marsh, absolutely tremendous. There are other places here than Wendall Marsh, for example Lake Sunapee, and on a beautiful day you get a fine vista of Baisdell Hill from Wendall Marsh. Throughout the months of summer at Wendall Marsh highs are usually in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Wendall Marsh. This lake is so wonderful.
