If you come at the right time of year, Israel River offers some perfect whitewater; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Nubble Mountain Trail. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps       more to do next to Weeks Pond. Playing golf is lots of fun at Waumbek Golf Club, and the slopes of Cannon Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. At Weeks Pond you always meet someone from Berlin. Lakes are great; Weed Pond is a lake that's next to Weeks Pond. The warmest time of the year at Weeks Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's;                  after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Weeks Pond drop into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
