If you like lakes and you're in this part of New Hampshire you can check out Lake Waukewan. Lake Waukewan is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Waukewan a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Center Harbor Town Beach close to Lake Waukewan is a fine thing to do. Just can't get enough of Lake Waukewan. Get soaked paddling on Smarts Brook; if you need a place to stay The Inns & Spa at Mill Falls is a perfect choice.
Gunstock is a fine local ski area; since you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Laconia. But wait, there's more to do near Lake Waukewan. The Pasture Trail offers hiking at its best, and Meredith woods Four Season Camping
Area is a good local campground. McGrillis Hill can be distinguished from Lake Waukewan, and Clearwater Campground is a perfect campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Otter Pond is a lake that's close to
Lake Waukewan, and in close proximity to Lake Waukewan you find a golf course called Oak Hill Golf Course. Lake Waukewan is right by the Ridge Trail, and The Summit Resort is a fine place to get some rest. Through the warm months
at Lake Waukewan highs are frequently in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows at Lake Waukewan during the wintertime regularly fall into the 0's.
