Paddling on Souhegan River is so much fun, and if you've had enough of Water Loom Pond, Souhegan River Reservoir Number 13 is nearby. Take a side visit to Furnace Brook, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Crotched Mountain while       you're here. Through the long summer days at Water Loom Pond highs are frequently in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Water Loom Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mitchell Hill Road, and don't leave Water Loom Pond without first paying a visit to The Whirlpool. This lake is so wonderful.
