What a place this is for outdoors folks. A wonderful lake like Hog Hill Pond near Wash Pond is a tremendous place to pop by, and hiking along the Catamount Trail is good fun. This lake is so wonderful. Concord River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at McIntyre. Take a hike on the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail, and a journey to close by Boulder Cove is very relaxing.       Lots of rain falls at Wash Pond; November is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. There's some exciting stuff to observe at Wash Pond Dam next to Wash Pond, and Wash Pond is a magnificent lake close by. For you golfers we recommend close by Atkinson Country Club, and if you came for an overnight stay Sanborn Shore Acres is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to come across some friendly folks from                  Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here; Howe Hill is pretty and can be spotted from here. Wash Pond in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Little Suncook; a good close by hotel is Holiday Inn Salem, Nh. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Bradford if you're here; Sunset Park is a magnificent local campground. High temperatures at Wash Pond during the months of summer are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Wash Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
