If you are traveling by, why not stop by Wallace Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Wallace Pond with night lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's while Wallace Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. There's so much to do here at Wallace Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Notch View is a magnificent place for that, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Moose Trail. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Wallace Pond; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month of the year is February. everything Wallace Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mohawk Valley Camping Area, and Coos Motor Inn is a great place to get some rest. This place, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. There's whitewater on Nulhegan
River for all you adrenaline junkies, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Berlin for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Colebrook Country Club Motel,
and the top of Jordan Hill is easily spotted from Wallace Pond. The Shore Trail is a great hiking trail near Wallace Pond, and after a long day outdoors Lancaster Motor Inn is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. Whitewater
paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Mohawk River, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Balsams Wilderness. You're perhaps keen on lakes, Fish Pond is one of those close by, and Harvey Brook is near Wallace
Pond and is always a diversion to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lime Pond is next to Wallace Pond, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Loon Trail.

To me the best time of year was 4th of July because of all the fireworks and the early morning cannon going off!! and Winter snow mobiling -40 degree wether cant beet it! RED WOOD ON THE ROCKS!... |
