In New Hampshire there are many beautiful lakes, Upper Reservoir is one of them. The vista of beautiful Balch Hill near Upper Reservoir is perfect, and after a long day outdoors Pierce's Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Upper Reservoir is a good site of normal precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Clark Pond Loop, and the wonderful folks of Lebanon like to hang out nearby. and hiking is a popular thing to do around Upper Reservoir; Dartmouth Outing Club Trail is a great local trail.
Camping at Rest N' Nest Campground is always a pleasant experience, and do take a hike on the Grimes Hill Road. This
lake is so wonderful. Really great skiing awaits you at Whaleback. Lakes? Sure, Fletcher Reservoir is around here. But wait, there's more to do near Upper Reservoir. Velvet Rocks is an exciting place to have a look at while at Upper
Reservoir, and you can run the rapids of Mascoma River.
A glorious close by hotel is The Trumbull House Bed And Breakfast, and there's always Upper Reservoir Dam to go to near Upper Reservoir. Summertime highs at Upper Reservoir
mostly tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, usually in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Upper Reservoir are in the-10's.
