You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in the vicinity of Upper Reservoir has to offer. Velvet Rocks is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Upper Reservoir; Courtyard by Marriott Hanover Lebanon is a magnificent place to get some rest. And       that's not all you can do here at Upper Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Grimes Hill Road is always a brilliant adventure. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Hanover Country Club, and whitewater paddling is fine on Mascoma River. Nearby lakes? Sure, Parker Reservoir is near Upper Reservoir, and a great nearby hotel is The Trumbull House Bed And Breakfast. You're almost certainly keen on lakes, Lower Reservoir is one of those close by; close                  by you come across the Clark Pond Loop which is a great hiking trail. The yearly rainfall here at Upper Reservoir is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Storrs Pond Recreation Area is always a delightful experience, and pretty scenery and pleasant skiing is what you obtain at Whaleback. At Upper Reservoir through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's.
