Upper Mountain Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The Plain is right here at Upper Mountain Lake, and Pond Ledge is something you shouldn't miss if you're here. All through the days of summer here at Upper Mountain Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Upper Mountain

| | Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Blueberry Mountain Trail, and don't forget to take a magnificent little trip to Waterman Brook.

had enough of Upper Mountain Lake, French Pond is nearby. Why not camp at Pleasant Valley Camp Grounds while you're here at Upper Mountain Lake, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Lyndon Outing Club is reasonably near.
And
that's not all you can do here at Upper Mountain Lake. A good nearby hotel is Nootka Lodge; an afternoon playing golf at Blackmount Country Club is always a diversion. If you need a site to stay Hay Loft Inn at Blackmount is a great
choice; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wild Ammonoosuc River. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Twin River Campground and Cottages, and there's some interesting stuff
to spot at Olsen Dam near Upper Mountain Lake.
That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Upper Mountain Lake has it all. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Wild Ammonoosuc River. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Black Mountain Trail, and a day on the slopes of Cannon Mountain is just what you need.
