This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene sites, why not pop by Lower Mountain Lake close to Upper Mountain Lake, and a perfect nearby hotel is Ammonoosuc Inn. So many amusing things in the vicinity of Upper Mountain Lake, just astonishing. Cannon Mountain is a very popular ski area around here, and there's whitewater on Wild Ammonoosuc River for all you adrenaline kick people. Head up to Lyndon Outing Club and strap some skis to your feet, and going for a hike on the Blueberry Mountain Trail is always a great adventure.
