This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kearsarge Trail, and Lower Kimball Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. You can run the rapids of Ellis River in the vicinity of Upper Kimball Pond, and while you're here, you could also stop at gorgeous Upper                  Kimball Lake. The snow is good at Black Mountain, and of course Kimball Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth going to. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Upper Kimball Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Upper Kimball Pond.
