Upper Kimball Pond is a lake close by; why not take a refreshing hike along the Province Brook Trail. Paddling on Wild River is so much fun, and the peak of Birch Hill can be seen from Upper Kimball Lake. Upper Kimball Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; during November this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is September.
