Upper Baker Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. Atwell Hill is clearly visible from Upper Baker Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Baker River - South Branch. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Pond Brook River offers some brilliant whitewater, and Ammonoosuc Inn is a glorious spot to get some rest. Man, is there a       heap of fun stuff to do in the White Mountains. A tremendous location to camp here at Upper Baker Pond is Pemi River Campground, and Pickerel Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. So much amusing stuff to do here in the White Mountains, too perfect to be true. Everybody close by loves skiing at Whaleback; after a long day outdoors The Trumbull House Bed And Breakfast is a glorious spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is                  available at Swain Brook Campground, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Grimes Hill Road. Why not visit nearby Brackett Brook if you're here at Upper Baker Pond, and going for a hike on the Blueberry Mountain Trail is always a nice adventure. During the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Upper Baker Pond, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Upper Baker Pond. Upper Baker Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Upper Baker Pond.
