     Not far from Turtle Pond, you'll come across Hothole Pond which is a scenic lake, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn CONCORD is a good location to spend a night or two. A fine site to camp here at Turtle Pond is Cascade Park Campground, and Concord Plains is right here at Turtle Pond. The warmest time of the year at Turtle Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily  
   in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Turtle Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Catamount Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Snow Pond.
Be careful coming to Turtle Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. Merrimack River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and hey, Bowen Brook is a tremendous local stream. Head up to McIntyre and strap some skis to your feet, and you
 
               can see Oak Hill from Turtle Pond. A normal amount of rain falls here at Turtle Pond; May is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Turtle Pond is close to Turtle Pond Dam which is a pretty place positively worth visiting, and Turtle Pond is a site with many visitors from Concord. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail, and the snow is nice at Gunstock. Beaver Meadow Golf Course is a great golf course close by.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Twin Oaks Campground, and Courtyard Concord is a tremendous place to get some rest. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Turtle Pond. Paddling on Piscataquog River is so much fun, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Turtle Pond; Onemile Trail is a nice local trail.
