Frazier Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit, and going for a hike on the Old Country Road is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay The Henniker Motel is a good choice; a good place for whitewater paddling is Blackwater River. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Trumbull Pond. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Lake Winnepocket in the neighborhood

From a rain point of view Trumbull Pond is a relatively normal place; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is January. to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Trumbull Pond. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. You'll meet a lot of folks from Concord here. You'll
need more than a day to discover everything Trumbull Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sandy Beach Family Campground. Very lovely scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Ragged Mountain, and you can take a little visit
to Lake Winnepocket Dam if you're here at Trumbull Pond. Near Trumbull Pond you hit upon the Wilmot Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on
Contoocook River. You'll discover a pretty lake called Lake Winnepocket near Trumbull Pond, and hey, Gotta ski right? Pats Peak is a great place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Trumbull Pond is a nice place to visit for
more than one day, Cold Brook Campground is a nice place to camp nearby, and a swamp like Knights Meadow Marsh right next door to Trumbull Pond has lots of exciting things to see.
