If you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Dover is a tremendous choice; Town House Pond is not the only place nearby, Milton Pond is a nearby lake. Branch River is a good place to take a look at, and the slopes of Abenaki are so inviting nobody can resist. The high level of rainfall makes Town House Pond a reasonably wet location; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is January. A lake close by is Milton Pond, and Town House Pond

| | is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Kings And Queens Court Resort is a great spot to camp nearby.
During the summer at Town House Pond highs are regularly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Town House Pond are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Whitewater paddling is great on Little River; Mi-te-jo Campground is a perfect local campground.
