You'll come across a delightful lake called Cunningham Pond near Topside Pond, and you can hit the beach if you want, Picnickers Beach is practically right here. All through the warmest time of the year here at Topside Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in       the 20's; nighttime lows at Topside Pond during the winter frequently fall into the 10's. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Topside Pond. A glorious spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Topside Pond is Contoocook River, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Mitchell Hill Road. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Crotched Mountain is near Topside Pond, and on a good day you can take a hike                  along the Wapack Trail. If you need a place to stay Colonial Hotel is a great choice, and if you came to camp Woodmore Campground is a great location to do that. The yearly rain here at Topside Pond is about average; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Henniker Motel is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; people from Manchester-Nashua love to come here. A round of golf at nearby Monadnock Country Club is a good way to kill some time; do have a look at Cranberry Meadow Pond, it's a stunning lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Topside Pond. Going for a hike on the Parker Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and Campers Beach is pretty nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. This lake is so wonderful.
