During the warm months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Tom Pond with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Tom Pond. This lake is so wonderful.       There's so much to do here at Tom Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cold Brook Campground is a fine place for that, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Ballard Brook. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Tom Pond. The snow is good at Ragged Mountain, and Tom Pond is a site with many visitors from Concord. Be careful coming to Tom Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. If the weather is delightful here at                  Tom Pond, you can go for a hike along the Old Country Road. Tom Pond gets a good deal of water; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. There's whitewater on Blackwater River for all you thrill seekers; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Pats Peak. Going for a hike along the Wilmot Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Pleasant Pond is a great lake nearby. Stay the night at Sandy Beach Family Campground, and Duston Country Club Golf Course is a wonderful golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
