The snow is pleasant at Gunstock, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Rattlesnake Trail. Tioga River Reservoir generally gets a lot of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Tioga River Reservoir is a place with many visitors from Laconia, and after a long day outdoors Lake Opechee Inn and Spa is a brilliant place to spend a night or two.
