Summer brings highs in the 80's to Tioga River Reservoir, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Tioga River Reservoir. Drift down the rapids of Winnipesaukee River in a kayak, and at Tioga River Reservoir you always meet someone from Laconia. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Suncook River offers some splendid whitewater, and you can stay the night at Granite State Campground. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Tioga River Reservoir. There are other sites here than Tioga River Reservoir, for example Sargent Lake. And that's not everything you can do here in the White Mountains. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Abenaki, and if you need a place to stay Lake Opechee Inn and Spa is a wonderful choice.
