Tilton Pond is a nice lake to visit. Tilton Pond is located in the White Mountains. Bearcamp River is a great whitewater spot next to Tilton Pond, and stunning scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Attitash Bear Peak. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the White Mountains. Getting to Kelly Brook from Tilton Pond is simple, and after a long day outdoors Tamworth Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful.

| | Good hiking is available along the Red Path, and Matterhorn Motor Lodge is a delightful site to get some rest. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camping at Tilton Pond is brilliant fun, Jigger Jonnson Campground 2 is a brilliant local campground, and skiing at Waterville Valley is one of those things you just should do.

August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February. You absolutely must go for Tilton Pond. Birch Intervale is a pretty spot any time of year, and do check out Great Hill Pond, it's a lovely lake.
This spot, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Tilton Pond is a magnificent place to camp, Jigger Johnson Campground 1 is a magnificent place, and people from Laconia love to come here.
You can run the
rapids of Wonalancet near Tilton Pond, and there's good hiking along the Mount Katherine Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A great panorama of striking Brown Hill is available from Tilton Pond; you can go for a hike on the Gordon
Path. During the warm months at Tilton Pond temperatures are typically in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Tilton Pond sink into the 0's.
