Tight Pond is located in the White Mountains. Summer at Tight Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Tight Pond during the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 0's. You could also visit Upper Pequawket Pond while you're here at Tight Pond; it's nearby, and nearby you discover the White Horse       Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. What would a location like Tight Pond be without exciting nearby traits like Band M Ledge, and if the weather is delightful, you obtain a perfect view of Bald Hill from Tight Pond. This place is excellent, just explore all the amusing stuff to do next to Tight Pond. A great spot for whitewater paddling near Tight Pond is Saco River - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike                  on the Red Ridge Trail is always a delightful adventure; Tight Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Eastern Slope Camping Area is a great local campground. All year is a fine time in the White Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. Looking for something close to Tight Pond? Ledge Pond is in close proximity, and not far from Tight Pond you get some great water scenery at Little Pea Porridge Pond Dam. Tight Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; November is when you get the most rain here; September on the other hand is the driest. So many fun things to do at Tight Pond, so little time. Camping at Saco Valley Canoe is always a nice experience; the White Ledge Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. So many amusing things to do here in the White Mountains, too splendid to be true. A perfect close by hotel is Merrill Farm Resort, and get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Swift River.
