The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you come at the right time of year, Swift River offers some great whitewater, and brilliant skiing awaits you at King Pine. All the water falling down from the sky makes Tight Pond a wet spot; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here; September is when it's       the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Tight Pond, for example Ledge Pond; there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the White Horse Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Band M Ledge is an out of the ordinary location to check out while at Tight Pond; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the White Ledge Trail. All the outdoors fun stuff in the White Mountains will keep you coming back many                  times. There's so much to do here at Tight Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Eastern Slope Camping Area is a nice site for that. Lakes? Sure, Upper Pequawket Pond is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Merrill Farm Resort is a good spot to spend a night or two, and nearby you come across the Red Ridge Trail which is a good hiking trail. Tight Pond in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Saco River - East Branch. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Tight Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Saco Valley Canoe is a good local campground, and at Tight Pond you can distinguish Bald Hill. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites NORTH CONWAY; splendid water scenery is available at Little Pea Porridge Pond Dam near Tight Pond. Through the days of summer here at Tight Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
