Summer at Thurston Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Thurston Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. There's so much to do here at Thurston Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Blake's Brook Campground is a nice site       for that; if you come at the right time of year, Little Suncook offers some great whitewater. A splendid nearby hotel is Northwood Motel, and Thurston Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Hillcrest Campground is a great local campground. Having a pleasant time at Thurston Pond is easy. After a long day outdoors Lake Shore Farm is a nice place to spend a night or two, and the skiing at McIntyre is great. This lake is so wonderful. There are some                  brilliant whitewater spots on Suncook River; if you're here you can take a hike along the Campground Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Candia Woods Golf Links. An average amount of precipitation falls at Thurston Pond; throughout November this area sees the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. If the weather is splendid here at Thurston Pond, you can go for a hike along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Laconia.
