We have had a wonderful time with family and friends fishing over the last 15 years. When the dam is lowered dropping water level 3-4 feet it is nearly impossible to launch our little john boat and for the kids to have enough water to fish in and make our way around the reservoir. We have not been able to fish at Taylor River many times over the past three years due to the water level. Thank you. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great world it would be. Some nearby water includes Ash Brook, and Taylor River Dam is not far at all from Taylor River Reservoir. Taylor River Reservoir is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls during November; January is when it's the driest. Get drenched paddling on Atlantic Ocean, and if you       came to camp Tide-water Campground is a great place to do that. A good close by hotel is Lamies Inn; a lake close by is Taylor River Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Hampton Falls is a brilliant local attraction, and for you golfers we recommend close by Breakfast Hill Golf Club. A spree to The Rocks near Taylor River Reservoir is always a great idea, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SEABROOK is a perfect site to spend                  a night or two. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Great Works River; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Salisbury Beach. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Taylor River Reservoir. Taylor River Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Shel-Al Camping Area is a good local campground; Car Barn Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Line Swamp is a swamp in close proximity to Taylor River Reservoir, and Bradford is a very popular ski area close by. This lake is so wonderful. Nothing beats kicking back at North Hampton Beach, and Car Barn Hill is clearly visible from Taylor River Reservoir. All through the days of summer at Taylor River Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
