What a nice lake Taylor Pond is. Taylor Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Jackman Pond, and a nice spot to camp here at Taylor Pond is Jigger Jonnson Campground 2. If you're here at Taylor Pond, you could visit Atwood Brook, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Attitash Bear Peak while you're here. There's just no

| | way somebody can get bored here at Taylor Pond. Why not camp at Pine Woods Campground while you're here at Taylor Pond, and from Taylor Pond you acquire a perfect panorama of Brown Hill. This spot, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. There's whitewater on Cold Brook for all you adrenaline people, and what would winter be without some skiing at Waterville Valley. So much exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. | |

Don't leave Taylor Pond without first going for a hike along the Mount Katherine Trail; Best Western Silver Fox Inn is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Lakes are great; Miles Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Taylor
Pond; pleasant hiking is available along the Red Path. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Bearcamp River; there's wonderful hiking along the Old Locke Road Path.
From a rainfall point of view Taylor Pond is a quite typical site; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. You'll meet a lot of folks from Laconia here, and if you need a place to stay
Rodeway Inn Moultonborough is a fine choice. All through the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 70's at Taylor Pond while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and
overnight lows in the 0's for Taylor Pond. Be careful coming to Taylor Pond, you might not ever wanna return home again.
