New Hampshire has many beautiful lakes and Swamp Pond is one of them. Summertime at Swamp Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; the night is rather cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Swamp Pond during the wintertime regularly sink into the 0's. | | take a hike along the Prospect Trail, and Tenney Mountain is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Oak Hill Golf Course is a great golf course close by, and the summit of Bachelder Hill can be seen from Swamp Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Winnipesaukee River offers some good whitewater, and Gunstock has fine slopes and a friendly staff. adventure along the Pasture Trail, and Wickwas Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out. Swamp Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the
least amount of precipitation. And that's not all you can do here at Swamp Pond. Hiking along the The Wall Trail is magnificent fun; at Swamp Pond you always meet someone from Laconia. A wonderful forest near Swamp Pond is Chemung
State Forest, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Winnipesaukee River. Lake Opechee Inn and Spa is a tremendous place to get some rest; why not camp at Clearwater Campground while you're here at Swamp Pond. Be careful
coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Wickwas Lake; a trip to Endicott Park Beach is always a great idea. This lake is so
wonderful. If you need a place to stay The Inns & Spa at Mill Falls is a tremendous choice. Lakes are glorious; Mud Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Swamp Pond. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is located in the
wonderful White Mountains. That right there is lots of fun stuff already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. Meredith woods Four Season Camping Area is a good local campground, and swing by Dolloff Brook it's a tremendous place to check out.

I walked our youngest child, Deborah Jean, in a stroller on our beautiful back roads. We have a wonderful family atmosphere of folks living here and a law enforcement that does a fabulous job keeping our town safe. We love to fish, swim and boat; and although we had a setback with the dam break for the summer of 2006, we look forward to seeing the repairs of our dam to once again restore our beautiful body of water. Ragged Mountain
 | 21 miles away I went to this mountain with my school and it was a really fun expiernce and I am planning to go back with my school some time soon.......r RMR-Pacific, an affiliate of Pacific Group. Since then, total acreage has increased to 2,000 and plans call for 65 further acres of slopes. Upon acquiring the mountain property, the new owners invested over $2 million into the resort for renovations including 14,000 feet of new snow making pipe, 25 new energy efficient snow guns, new snow groomers, a new Wonder carpet lift for beginners, chairlift improvements including reviving lift service to Spear Mountain, base lodge renovations including new carpet, the repair of steps and outside brick walkways, the addition of seasonal lockers and an outdoor fire pit, and adding two new restaurants. The renovations did not stop there. In 2008, Ragged Mountain announced the addition of a new upscale dining establishment, additional snow-making capacity, and three all new terrain parks including one of the only all natural terrain parks in the East.
