No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Sunset Lake. Take a hike on the Parker Trail, and on a perfect day it's a nice idea to spend the day at Campers Beach. This lake is so wonderful.                  You can take a little spree to Mill Race Dam if you're here at Sunset Lake; Contoocook River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Sunset Lake. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stony Brook; you're probably addicted to lakes, Hogback Pond is one of those close by. After a long day outdoors Colonial Hotel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and Picnickers Beach is quite close by if you're in a beach type of mood. The Henniker Motel is a great spot to get some rest, and Monadnock Country Club is a magnificent golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Sunset Lake through the long summer days are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Sunset Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
