If you are traveling by, why not stop by Suncook Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Suncook River is a nice whitewater spot near Suncook Lake, and Abenaki is a glorious local ski area. Don't leave Suncook Lake without first going for a hike along the Campground Trail, and camping at Sun River Campground is always a fine experience. Camping is available at Hillcrest Campground and Cabins, and if you need a place to stay Red Roof Inn Loudon is a brilliant choice.

An exciting thing to take a look at close to Suncook Lake is Suncook Lake Dam. This lake
is so wonderful. There are other places here than Suncook Lake, for example Upper Suncook Lake; you'll meet a lot of people from Laconia here. There's good hiking along the Onemile Trail, and Nippo Lake Golf Club is a good golf course
nearby.
A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Suncook Lake; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
