Dry warm beds await you at Loudon Red Roof Inn; if you're a golfer then a delightful nearby course is Nippo Lake Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Suncook River, and some of the water nearby flows, like Big River. Sun River Campground is a great local campground, and why not go to       Suncook Lake Dam if you're here. What would winter be without some skiing at Abenaki; hiking along the Onemile Trail is nice fun. Suncook Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Wolfeboro Inn is a magnificent location to get some rest, and going for a hike along the Catamount Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is so wonderful. Suncook Lake is not the only spot close by, Huntress Pond is a close by lake,                  and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Gunstock while you're here. Suncook Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Hillcrest Campground and Cabins is a good location to camp nearby; you're sure to encounter some friendly people from Laconia here. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area near Suncook Lake has to offer. High temperatures at Suncook Lake all through the summer are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Suncook Lake.
