Sunapee Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. An average amount of rainfall falls at Sunapee Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Lake has it all. Really great skiing awaits you at Mount Sunapee, and hiking along the Wilmot Trail is tremendous fun. Nothing beats kicking back at Dewey Beach, and dry warm beds await you at Burkhaven Lodge. This lake is so
wonderful. You could also visit Lake Sunapee if you're here at Sunapee Lake; it's close by; Blodgett Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. Here at Sunapee Lake you can spot Burkehaven Hill; you can always
enjoy a lazy day on the beach at State Park Beach. Camping at Rand Pond Campground is always a pleasant experience, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Croyden
Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Monadnock Sunapee Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Lakeview Motor Lodge is a glorious choice.
