An average amount of rain falls at Streeter Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Indian Brook is a magnificent local stream, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Jericho Road Trail. High temperatures at Streeter Pond throughout the long summer days are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through       the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Streeter Pond tend to be in the 0's. There's so much to do here at Streeter Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Littleton-lisbon Koa Kampground is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Sunset Hill Golf Course, and there are glorious sites to discover along the Reel Brook Trail. Whitewater paddling is tremendous                  on Gale River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Streeter Pond has to offer, you can camp at White Birches Camping Park. This lake is so wonderful. Streeter Pond Dam is a picturesque place next to Streeter Pond, and what would winter be without some skiing at Loon Mountain. The slopes of Cannon Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist; going for a hike on the Mount Kinsman Trail is always a great adventure. If you need a place to stay Continental 93 Travelers Inn is a splendid choice; get wet paddling on Ammonoosuc River. If only every site had this much outdoors cool things, what a great earth it would be.
