This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Straw Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Mount Ascutney State Park Campground, and Bald Mountain is clearly visible from Straw Reservoir. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Straw Reservoir; the wettest month of the year       is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest.
