The beauty of Stone Pond is reason enough to stop by. A delightful place to camp here at Stone Pond is State Line Campground, and dry warm beds await you at E.F. Lane Hotel. There are other locations here than Stone Pond, for example Scott Pond; if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Red Cross Trail. This lake is so wonderful. paddling on Millers River. If you need a place to stay Gardner Super 8 Motel is a tremendous choice, and Laurel Lake is a wonderful lake close by. Stone Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Laurel Lake Campgrounds
is a delightful local campground, and you get a tremendous vista of Beebe Hill from here. A great spot for whitewater paddling near Stone Pond is Ashuelot River - South Branch, and hiking along the White Arrow Trail is magnificent
fun. Stone Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Very wonderful
water scenery is available at Stone Pond Dam in the neighborhood of Stone Pond, and the skiing at Pine Ridge is glorious.
