The beauty of Star Lake is reason enough to stop by. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the White Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Grand View Lodge & Cabins, and if you came for an overnight stay Timberland Camping Area is a great spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Peabody River - West Branch; do put some time aside to spend at Hitchcock Falls since you're here at Star Lake. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Hiking is a popular thing to do around Star Lake; Watson Path is a magnificent local trail, and Kelton Crag is an out of the ordinary spot to stop at while at Star Lake.

a little colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Star Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do close
to Star Lake. Adams Five is clearly visible from Star Lake.
The amount of precipitation that falls at Star Lake is close to the national average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the
driest. There's whitewater on Peabody River for all you thrill seekers, and Jefferson Ravine is a good place to stop by. Take a little journey to Chandler Brook while you're here at Star Lake, and perfect hiking is available along
the Buttress Trail.
Star Lake is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the White Mountains. There's perfect hiking along the Adams Slide Trail, and camping
at Star Lake is tremendous fun, White Birches Mtn Camping Park is a tremendous local campground. After a long day outdoors Great Gully Lodge Bed & Break is a good place to spend a night or two, and why not head up to Black Mountain and strap some skis to your feet.
