It's always fun to stop by Star Lake. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. A good place to camp here at Star Lake is Timberland Camping Area; Peabody River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Peabody River - West Branch in the vicinity of Star Lake, and Star Lake is right by the Adams Slide Trail.
Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. Why not camp at White Birches Mountain Camping

From a rain point of view Star Lake is a rather normal location; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. If you need a location to stay Royalty Inn is a glorious choice, and Chandler Brook is next to Star Lake and is always a pleasure to explore. Having a good time at Star Lake is uncomplicated.
From Star Lake you obtain a tremendous view of Adams Five, and if you're here at Star Lake, checking out Kelton Crag is a must. So much enjoyable stuff next to Star Lake, just astonishing. Near Star Lake you stumble on Jefferson
Ravine which is a magnificent spot to go to.
This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Black Mountain; do take a hike on the Watson Path. A tour to Star Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look
at Hitchcock Falls, and the Buttress Trail offers hiking at its best. Summer at Star Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Star Lake.
