Squam Lake is located in the White Mountains. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Ashland is a great choice; if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Center Harbor Town Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Waterville Valley is a perfect location to do that, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Laconia for sure. Very beautiful scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Tenney Mountain, and a wonderful panorama of gorgeous

| | High Haith is available. Dry warm beds await you at The Inns & Spa at Mill Falls; Squam Lake is not the only location close by, Intervale Pond is a close by lake. Squam Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. enjoyable stuff. Looking for something near Squam Lake? White Oak Pond is in close proximity, and there's whitewater on Smarts Brook for all you adrenaline junkies. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things
the White Mountains has to offer. Go for a hike on the Ridge Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Beebe River. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The White Mountains is unbeatable!
Near Squam Lake you come across the Rattlesnake Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and getting to Swainey Brook from Squam Lake is simple. Having a glorious time in the White Mountains is easy. All through the months of summer
here at Squam Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Squam Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
