Sportsman Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Stay the night at Laurel Lake Campgrounds, and going for a hike along the Red Cross Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Marlboro Trail, and get soaked paddling
on Ashuelot River - South Branch. The skiing at Pine Ridge is great, and dry warm beds await you at King Phillip Motel. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Sportsman Pond to see the water at Sportsman Pond Dam;
if you need a place to stay Coach & Four Motor Inn is a tremendous choice.
Hiking along the White Arrow Trail is great fun. There's so much to do here at Sportsman Pond that you need to camp here for a while, State Line Campground is a great location for that.
