If you came to camp Seven Maples Campground is a nice place to do that, and a gorgeous lake like Shadrach Pond is a delightful place to stop by. The Pumpelly Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Bailey Brook. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Spoonwood Pond. The skiing at Mount Sunapee is splendid, and why not take       a refreshing hike along the Parker Trail. A day on the slopes of Crotched Mountain is just what you need, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sovereign Hotel. During the summertime highs here at Spoonwood Pond reach the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Spoonwood Pond. Spoonwood Pond gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation;                  most of the rain falls all through August; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Cobb Hill is a peak you can observe from Spoonwood Pond, and whitewater paddling is fine on Contoocook River. Just can't get enough of Spoonwood Pond. Contoocook River - North Branch has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. An out of the ordinary thing to pop by close to Spoonwood Pond is Spoonwood Pond Dam; E.F.
