What would winter be without some skiing at Whaleback; while you're here, you could also visit charming The Overflow. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. A spree to Dewey Beach close to Spectacle Pond is always a splendid idea, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Sunapee since you're here. This lake is so wonderful.       Do visit Rockybound Pond in the neighborhood of Spectacle Pond, it's a delightful lake, and Sugar River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Why not camp at Loon Lake Campground while you're here at Spectacle Pond, and you have to certainly stop at lovely State Park Beach since you're here. During the summertime here at Spectacle Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures                  during the winter are normally in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Spectacle Pond. Here at Spectacle Pond you'll probably meet some people from Lebanon. Go for a hike on the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail, and from Spectacle Pond you acquire a delightful sight of Baltimore Hill. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Croyden Brook, and a quick tour to Ash Swamp Brook is unquestionably a brilliant idea.
