If you are in Coos county it's always a good idea to stop by Spaulding Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Dry River, and Wildcat has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Since you're here at Spaulding Lake why not stop by Burt Ravine, and you're most likely hooked on lakes, Lakes of the Clouds is one of those nearby. and there's whitewater on Peabody River - West Branch for all you adrenaline kick people. Hit the slopes at Bretton Woods around here, and dry warm beds await you at Grand View Lodge & Cabins. You just can't picture the amount
of outdoors exciting things the White Mountains has to offer. Going for a hike on the Six Husbands Trail is always a good adventure. There's so much to do here at Spaulding Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Dry River Campground
is a good site for that. Spaulding Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. The Sphinx Trail is a delightful
hiking trail near Spaulding Lake, and you need to explore Ball Crag if you're here. During the summertime highs here at Spaulding Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the
wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Spaulding Lake are in the 0's. The White Mountains here at Spaulding Lake makes the scenery here glorious; close by you find the Westside Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail.
