If you are in Merrimack county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Solitude. There's so much to do here at Lake Solitude that you need to camp here for a while, Rand Pond Campground is a splendid place for that, and everybody close by loves skiing at Mount Sunapee. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Solitude is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Loon Lake Campground is a splendid local campground, and hey, Gotta ski right? Whaleback is a glorious

| | place to do that. For the duration of the months of summer at Lake Solitude highs are generally in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 20's; night lows in the 10's for Lake Solitude. A day at striking Dewey Beach close to Lake Solitude is a great thing to do, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail. This lake is so wonderful. area for people who like lakes. Mountainview Lake is a lake in close proximity, and time spent at State Park Beach is always glorious. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Mud Pond; of course Chandler
Brook flows through this area. If you need a place to stay Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a pleasant choice, and you can run the rapids of Croyden Brook. From a rain point of view Lake Solitude is a pretty typical place; August
is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Solitude. You can spot Eagles Nest from Lake Solitude. You just can't imagine the
amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area in the neighborhood of Lake Solitude has to offer. Rodeway Inn Claremont is a tremendous location to get some rest, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the West Ridge Trail. The
Wilmot Trail is a delightful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Lake Solitude; Sugar River is a magnificent whitewater spot close by.
