This lake is so wonderful. Mountainview Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and if you came to camp Rand Pond Campground is a pleasant place to do that. All through       the warmest time of the year highs here at Lake Solitude reach the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Solitude temperatures fall to the 10's. Rodeway Inn Claremont is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and you should definitely check out picturesque Dewey Beach if you're here. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mount Sunapee is in the vicinity of Lake Solitude, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Wilmot Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Mud Pond, and State Park Beach is a beautiful beach to check out. Lake Solitude gets a typical amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.
