Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Croyden Brook, and the slopes of Whaleback are so inviting noone can resist. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. The Monadnock Sunapee Trail is a good hiking trail near Lake Solitude; Dewey Beach is a beach nearby that you can have a look at. If you need a site to stay Lakeview Motor Lodge is a magnificent choice, and everyone close by loves       skiing at Mount Sunapee. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge; nothing beats kicking back at State Park Beach. Going for a hike on the West Ridge Trail is always a good adventure, and Lake Solitude is a glorious spot to camp, Loon Lake Campground is a glorious spot. The amount of rain that falls at Lake Solitude is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other                  hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Rand Pond Campground is a wonderful campground here; here at Lake Solitude you can catch a glimpse of Eagles Nest. Chandler Brook is next to Lake Solitude and is always a bliss to check out. Near Lake Solitude you come across the Wilmot Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and a pleasant site for whitewater paddling is Sugar River. During the long summer days at Lake Solitude temperatures are generally in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 50's.
