Going for a hike on the Bruce Path is always a wonderful adventure; you can run the rapids of Saco River - East Branch. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the White Mountains. Saco Valley Canoe is a great local campground; you don’t have to go far from Snake Pond to see the water at Pequawket Power Company Dam. Throughout the long summer days at Snake Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's. During the dark hours of       summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Snake Pond are in the 0's. Pea Porridge Pond is a good lake right next door to Snake Pond; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by King Pine. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is bountiful here in the White Mountains. The sight of Oak Hill from Snake Pond is striking, and a delightful lake                  like Pequawket Pond is a brilliant site to pop by. Snake Pond is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a good deal of rain; November is the month that gets the most rain while September is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Near Snake Pond you locate the White Horse Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and if you need a location to stay Merrill Farm Resort is a magnificent choice. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location.
