What a nice lake Sky Ranch Pond is. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Ascutney. Really great skiing awaits you at Whaleback, and you simply have to go to Willard Ledge while you're here at Sky Ranch Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? the-10's. Dry warm beds await you at Coolidge Hotel, and camping is available at Kings and Queens Court. There are other sites here than Sky Ranch Pond, for example Cranberry Pond, and getting to Bloods Brook from Sky Ranch Pond is
simple. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Connecticut River for all you adrenaline people, and do take a hike on the Slot Trail. The amount of rain that falls at Sky Ranch Pond is close to the national average;
throughout August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There are some fine whitewater spots on Bloods Brook, and Beauty Hill is a peak you can see from Sky Ranch Pond.
