This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm spots, why not visit Warner River Reservoir close to Simmons Pond, and the Wilmot Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Hit the slopes at                  Pats Peak in the vicinity; close by you find the Monadnock Sunapee Trail which is a fine hiking trail. A great location to camp here at Simmons Pond is Lake Massasecum Park and Campground, and Mount Sunapee has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff.
