Shoal Pond is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Mount Washington Hotel is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and the top of Whitewall Mount is easily seen from Shoal Pond. Shoal Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Tarry-ho-cottages is a good local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Highland Center Crawford Notch. So many cool things to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. Thoreau Falls is a beautiful site to have

| | a look at while you're at Shoal Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Ammonoosuc River offers some wonderful whitewater. Through the summertime months highs here at Shoal Pond get into the 70's; the night is rather colder of course, typically in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are typically in the 20's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Shoal Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. On a great day at Shoal Pond you | |

can take a hike along the Stillwater By-Pass, and a great site to camp here at Shoal Pond is Dry River Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things next to Shoal Pond. Going for a hike along the Ethan Pond Trail will
let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Pemigewasset River - North Fork. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the White Mountains. If the weather is perfect here at Shoal
Pond, you can go for a hike along the Shoal Pond Trail, and the snow is good at Bretton Woods. Shoal Pond is located in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Whitewall Brook if you're here at Shoal Pond; since you're
here, you might as well go to Zealand Notch. The amount of rainfall that falls at Shoal Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during August; February on the other hand is the driest. A day on the slopes of Waterville Valley is just what you need.
