The beauty of Shoal Pond attracts many people from all around. An average amount of rain falls at Shoal Pond; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest month of the year is February. Whitewall Brook while you're here at Shoal Pond. Very striking scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Bretton Woods, and drift down the rapids of Ammonoosuc River in a kayak.
Don't leave Shoal Pond without first going
for a hike along the Shoal Pond Trail, and there are other places here than Shoal Pond, for example Zealand Pond. Camping at Tarry-ho-cottages is always a nice experience, and a great location is Zealand Notch. This is no place for
people who don’t like to have fun. Go for a hike on the Ethan Pond Trail, and the summit of Whitewall Mount can be spotted from Shoal Pond.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the White Mountains has
to offer. Good hiking is available along the Stillwater By-Pass, and a great place to camp here at Shoal Pond is Dry River Campground. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The White Mountains rocks! A brilliant nearby hotel is
Mount Washington Hotel; paddling on Pemigewasset River - North Fork is so much fun. Shoal Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains.
