A lake nearby is Rust Pond; one of the best things about this location is its proximity to Allen Albee Beach. If you adore the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Shaws Pond. Shaws Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Wolfeboro Campground is a glorious local campground, and Caverly Mountain is lovely and can be spotted from here. | | hours it's frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Shaws Pond are in the 0's. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ROCHESTER is a great location to spend a night or two; Lovell River is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Club. A great close by hotel is Wolfeboro Inn; everyone close by loves skiing at Abenaki. So many entertaining things to do here at Shaws Pond, too delightful to be true. There's so much to do here at Shaws Pond that you need
to camp here for a while, Willey Brook Campground is a wonderful place for that, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Laconia for sure. This lake is so wonderful. A day at Clows Beach right next door to Shaws Pond
is time well spent, and if you get bored of Shaws Pond you could also take a look at close by Trapper Pond. Shaws Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains
the most, and January meanwhile is the driest month. There's some flowing water close by, Baker Brook is a stream you can stop at during your stay, and you can run the rapids of Suncook River.
