The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Shaw Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Winnipesaukee River, and if the weather is gorgeous, you get a delightful panorama of Pine Hill from Shaw Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Shaw Pond; Wilmot Trail is a wonderful local trail, and if you need a place to stay Tilton/Lake Winnipesaukee       Super 8 Motel is a wonderful choice. This place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. Looking for something in the neighborhood of Shaw Pond? Webster Lake and Chance Pond is around here. There's so much to do here at Shaw Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Grove Campground is a delightful spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Pats Peak, and why not take a refreshing hike along                  the Melton Falls Trail. Shaw Pond gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and January on the other hand is the driest. So many exciting things to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. The slopes of Ragged Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and you don’t have to go far from Shaw Pond to spot the water at Webster Lake Dam. Be careful coming to Shaw Pond, you might not ever want to return back home again. If you come at the right time of year, Merrimack River offers some glorious whitewater, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites TILTON is a pleasant location to get some rest. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the White Mountains. Golf can be played at Mojalaki Golf Club, and there are plenty of people from Concord here. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Vermetti Pond while you're here at Shaw Pond; it's close by, and do take a hike on the Manning Trail.
