Shaw Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the White Mountains. That right there is plenty of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. There's great hiking along the Piper Trail, and you can see Blazo Mountain from Shaw Pond. Shaw Pond regularly gets lots of rainfall; November is when       you get the most rain here while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Any time is a fine time at Shaw Pond if you fancy the outdoors. Paddling on Lovell River is so much fun, and playing golf is lots of fun at Indian Mound Golf Club. High temperatures at Shaw Pond during the summertime are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's, and                  through the dark hours in the winter at Shaw Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. Don't forget to have a look at Broad Bay while you're here at Shaw Pond, and get soaked paddling on Ossipee River. This lake is so wonderful. Merrill Farm Resort is a good spot to get some rest, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Cranmore Mountain. Go for a hike on the White Ledge Trail; Danforth Ponds is a nearby lake that you could pop by. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Shaw Pond. A lake nearby is Duck Pond, and hey, Blaisdell Brook is a great local stream. Dry warm beds await you at North Conway Grand Hotel; pleasant hiking is available along the Weetamoo Trail. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the White Mountains. Danforth Bay Camping Resort is a magnificent campground nearby, and the skiing at King Pine is fine. This lake is so wonderful.
